About Us Putnam County Electrical Contractors Association is a not-for-profit
trade association. Our association was formed in 1980 to establish and
promote high standards for knowledge, safety and value in electrical
service, for the benefit of the people, institutions and businesses of
Putnam County.
To qualify for membership in the Association, contractors must have a
current Master Electrician’s License, and must agree to the
Association’s definitions for quality of workmanship, use of quality
materials, adherence to safety codes, and also for efficiency, economy
and permanence in electrical installations.
Electricity can be dangerous
if used improperly or just
plain installed incorrectly.
Electrical work represents
not just a cost, for time
and materials, but should
also represent a long-term
investment in safety. The
Association’s
contractor-members agree to
deliver long-term safety and
overall value to the best of
their ability in all the
work they do. To help
contractors deliver safety
and value, the Association
regularly calls the
attention of
member-contractors to
technical advances in
methods and materials, and
to updates in electrical
safety codes.
